Dear Parents,
The year flew by so quickly! I can't believe it has come to an end! The year has been filled with wonderful and memorable experiences for both the children and me. My seventh year of teaching has proven to be a very special one thanks to all your support and all your children. I enjoyed getting to know each student and watching them all grow and learn throughout the year. They were all so enjoyable to work with and it is amazing to see how far they have come.
I would like to thank you all for your cooperation and support throughout the year. I couldn't do this program without the help of our parent volunteers who I thank wholeheartedly. I thank you for your help in the classroom (especially with the messy art projects), for chaperoning our field trips, for helping with our celebrations, for coming to our Kindergarten Museum, and for everything you did behind the scenes to make this year wonderful. Learning is a collaborative experience and fostered through teamwork…teamwork between the teachers, children, and parents. So thank you for being part of our team!
Just a reminder to continue reading to your child and have your child read to you. It is so important that books remain a big part of their lives. I would like to recommend a website that will be useful to you and your children while looking for summer literacy activities. The site address is: http://www.readwritethink.org/beyondtheclassroom/summer/
I’d like to wish all of you, parents and children alike, the best of everything in the coming years. I hope that exploration and learning will always be intriguing to you and your children.
Have a safe and happy summer!

Boston Swan Boats
We had a wonderful trip into Boston to see the State House, Louisburg Square, the Public Garden, and to ride on the Swan Boats. It was a beautiful day! I want to say a special thank you to Mrs. Delaney, Mrs. Agrawal, and Mr. Fragoso for chaperoning and enjoying the day with us! It's hard to believe it was our last Kindergarten field trip!

June 19, 2015 Newsletter
Dear Parents,
We had a wonderful day at Simonds Park today and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day or more cooperative children! The students did very well walking to the park. We were thankful for the crossing guards who assisted us along the way. We also enjoyed our pizza picnic and playing on the playground and at the field.
It’s hard to believe we’ve only got a couple of more days left of the school year! We are excited to go on our Boston field trip on Monday to see the State House and Louisburg Square and to ride on the Swan Boats! Hopefully rain won’t interfere with the trip again! Students will need a completely disposable bagged lunch and drink. Sneakers are a must! It would also be helpful if you could apply any sunscreen or bug spray that your child needs before school in the morning. If you are chaperoning, please be at the school by 8:30am so we can leave by 8:45. Chaperones will be riding on the bus with us. I would encourage the students to eat a nice, big breakfast before school because we won’t be eating lunch until the very end of our field trip. Children are welcome to bring a snack to school to eat before we leave.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I want to wish a very Happy Father’s Day to all you wonderful dads of Room 115. I hope it’s a special day for all of you!
